A single mold capable of manufacturing up to six part versions without disassembly or machine downtime.
Manufacturing the different versions of the part required multiple molds or frequent disassemblies, with the consequent increase in downtime, adjustments, and risk of error in production.
This approach limited productive flexibility, increased operational complexity, and generated inefficiencies in reference changes within the same line.


Thanks to our injection mold engineering, the project was approached from a perspective of productive flexibility, analyzing how to integrate different part versions into a single mold without penalizing changeover times or process reliability.
